Lupasol® G 20 is a water-free, low molecular weight, polyethylenimine that is used as an adhesion promoting additive in paints, coatings, and adhesives.
Lupasol® G 20 WF, is an anhydrous, low molecular weight, polyethylenimine (PEI) with a branched polymer structure. Lupasol® G 20 WF carries a high cationic charge density that makes it multi-functional and highly efficient at promoting adhesion, crosslinking polymers, flocculating contaminants, and dispersing pigments. It is available commercially as a clear to pale yellow, viscous liquid in 55 gallon drums. Lupasol® G 20 WF is soluble in water and other polar solvents and can be easily diluted to your target working concentration. Due to the cationic nature of the polymer, Lupasol® G 20 WF is recommended for use in alkaline, nonionic and cationic formulations.

Poor adhesion of paints and coatings in humid environments.
Cohesive failure of paints and adhesives.
Lupasol® G 20 WF is most commonly used as an additive to paints, coatings, and adhesives to improve adhesion to various surfaces.
Lupasol® G 20 WF is an effective crosslinker and will improve cohesion, durability, and moisture resistant of paint and adhesive formulations it is added to.
Lupasol® G 20 WF is highly effective at improving wet adhesion of latex paints.
This makes it useful ion formulations for high humidity environments like kitchens and bathrooms.
Lupasol® G 20 WF can
be used as the crosslinking polyamine component in polyurethane coatings and epoxy resins.
Lupasol® G 20 WF improves the early rain resistance of stucco finishes.
