Overview
Chemours Viton™ VPA-2 is vegetable wax used as a processing aid in extruding all types of Viton™ fluoroelastomers rubber goods. Viton™ VPA-2 fluoroelastomer processing aid provides a smooth preform, faster cure rate, and proper rubber mold release. Viton™ VPA-2 is generally used in O-rings, seals, tubings, and complex molded profiles. The recommended load rate for Viton™ VPA-2 is 0.5-2 phr. Viton™ VPA-2 extruded fluoroelastomer materials are typically smooth and glossy while having little or no effect on processing safety, cure rate, and stress properties.
