Pationic® 1052P is a glycerol monostearate (GMS) polymer additive with 52% monoglyceride content derived from palm oil that acts as a mold release agent, antistatic agent, and lubricant.
Corbion Pationic 1052P glycerol monostearate polymer additive is derived from natural fats and oils, often used as an internal lubricant in PVC, an antifogging agent, an antistatic agent, a flow modifier, and a dispersing agent. Pationic 1052P glycerol monostearate additive is derived from fully hydrogenated palm stearine approved for food-based packaging and containers that utilize polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) polymer systems. Pationic glycerol ester additive improves processing difficulties such as mold release and antistatic properties that contribute to a better appearance and overall performance. Corbion Pationic 1052P is also Halal and Kosher certified for food contact applications. Furthermore, Pationic 1052P offers the most benefits to polymer producers, compounders, and concentrate manufacturers in the plastics industry.
