SYLTHERM™ 800 is a high-quality, long-lasting silicone fluid designed for high-temperature liquid phase operations. SYLTHERM™ 800 is manufactured by Dow Chemical and delivers exceptional heat transfer fluid performance in extreme applications between −40°F and 750°F.
SYLTHERM™ 800 exhibits a very slow shift in the silicone–oxygen (siloxane) molecular structure under lengthy exposure to high thermal stress. It settles into a stable structure based on the operating pressure and temperature. This dynamic performance allows SYLTHERM™ 800 to deliver an unrivaled lifespan for a range of industrial equipment.
