LACTEL® 85:15 DL-PLGE, IV 0.55-0.75 is a biodegradable poly(lactic-co-glycolide) (PLGA) copolymer made up of a 85:15 ratio of D,L-lactide and glycolide. It exhibits an inherent viscosity range of 0.55─0.75 dL/g in chloroform and a degredation period of 6 months.
LACTEL® 85:15 DL-PLGE, IV 0.55-0.75 is a versatile pellatized excipient polymer available as white to tan granules for the formulation of long-acting injectable formulations in veterinary medicine and human generic drug formulations. Manufactured using a streamlined process to produce a cost-effective PLGA copolymer, Evonik's LACTEL® 50:50 DL-PLGE, IV 0.76-0.94 is non-solvent purified and formulated with no-added preservatives. It is ideal for terminal stabilization and exhibits long term stability, making them suitable for use with small molecules, proteins, peptides, and more.
