LACTEL® 50:50 DL-PLGA, IV 0.55-0.75 is a non-solvent purified lactide-glycolide copolymer with amorphous properties and no added preservatives for controlled release applications in pharmaceuticals. With a 50:50 mol ratio of D,L-lactide and glycolide, it exhibits an inherent viscosity of 0.55─0.75 dL/g in HFIP and a degradation period of 3 months.
LACTEL® 50:50 DL-PLGA, IV 0.55-0.75 is a premium lactide-based polymer containing a poly (D,L-lactide-co-glycolide) copolymer with equal mol ratios of DL-lactide and glycolide. It is recommended for its excellent performance in medical and pharmaceutical applications, such as long-acting injectable formulations in veterinary medicine and human generic drug formulations, providing controlled drug release. Its excellent biodegradability allows LACTEL® 50:50 DL-PLGA, IV 0.55-0.75 to break down into lactic acid and glycolic acids and be fully metabolized by the body for full effectiveness.
