LACTEL® DL-PLE, IV 0.26-0.54 is an advanced lactide-containing homopolymer with medium viscosity poly(DL-lactide) and no added preservatives. It offers excellent performance in controlled drug delivery systems and medical devices in veterinary medicine and human generic drug formulations and is suitable for use with small molecules, peptides, proteins, and more. Due to its excellent bioabsorbability, it is fully metabolized by the body, offering a degradation period of 12 months.
