Altapyne® M-28B is a co-emulsifier based on tall oil fatty acid (TOFA) that helps provide a stable emulsion and extended fluid life to metalworking fluid formulations. The higher rosin content (~28% rosin) of Altapyne® M-28B reduces foaming and improves fluid performance. Altapyne® M-28B shows reduced bioactivity, preventing microbial breakdown and foul odors.
