Kemamide® EZ, Pastille fatty amides are unsaturated fatty primary monoamides that are derived from vegetable source erucic acid offered in pastille form.
PMC Biogenix Kemamide® EZ, Pastille fatty amides are the additive choice for plastic material applications requiring good slip and anti-block properties. Kemamide® EZ, Pastille can be used as a slip agent in plastic films, a lubricant for rigid polymers, a mold release agent for injection molding, a dyestuff dispersant for printing inks and surface coatings, and a blending additives for polyamide resin material.
Kemamide® EZ, Pastille fatty amide is relatively insoluble in water and in oxygenated organic solvents at normal temperatures. PMC Biogenix Kemamide® EZ, Pastille protects plastics by providing long-term color stability when products are exposed to UV and oxygen degradation. Kemamide® EZ unsaturated fatty amides also act as a secondary mold release agent for use in polyolefins and engineering polymer applications.
