EMAC+® SP1358 is a 21.5% ethylene methyl acrylate block copolymer with high elasticity and tack for adhesion to a wide variety of substrates and polymers. Its flexibility and temperature resistance properties allow it to be used in a range of high-temperature end-use applications.
EMAC+® SP1358 is an advanced ethylene methyl acrylate polymer with high tack and adhesion properties, allowing it to be compatible with a range of materials, including polyolefins, polyesters, paper, ionomers, PVC, and other polar polymers without corroding them. Containing 21.5% methyl acrylate, this polymer provides excellent flexibility and elasticity at freezing temperatures with improved processability and resistance to environmental stress cracking. EMAC+® SP1358 also has good compatibility with fillers used. It is typically used to create products such as disposable gloves, instrument covers, medical drapes, flexible films, and blown or cast films, where flexibility and a low coefficient of friction are required.
