EMAC® SP2202 is an ethylene methyl acrylate copolymer that is highly compatible with a wide range of polymers. It exhibits excellent freezing-temperature performance for low-temperature applications.
EMAC® SP2202 is an ethylene-butyl acrylate (EBA) copolymer produced by Westlake that enhances elasticity and toughness in various applications. This polymer contains 21% ethylene methyl acrylate content for enhanced low-temperature resistance and wide substrate compatibility with papers, polyolefins, oriented polyolefins, ionomers, polyesters, PVC, and polar polymers without corrosion. It has a Shore D hardness of 39. EMAC® SP2202 can resist environmental stress cracking and damage from impact, making it ideal for use in flexible packaging, blown films, adhesives, and more.
