EMAC® SP2220 is an ethylene methyl acrylate block copolymer with low viscosity. It is noncorrosive and typically used as a masterbatch carrier resin.
EMAC® SP2220 is a low-viscosity, highly fillable copolymer containing 20% ethylene methyl acrylate content typically used as a masterbatch carrier resin. It exhibits excellent flexibility, toughness, and high filler acceptance in masterbatches and compounding applications. It has excellent compatibility with a variety of polymers. It offers further application versatility with utility in extrusion coating and lamination and carpet backing compounds. EMAC® SP2220 has a Shore D hardness of 36 and exhibits a tensile strength of 7 MPa at break. Containing 20% methyl acrylate, this polymer provides excellent flexibility and elasticity at freezing temperatures with improved processability and resistance to environmental stress cracking.
