EMAC® SP2260

Overview
EMAC® SP2260 from Westlake is an ethylene methyl acrylate copolymer recommended for various applications, including heat seal layers, tie layers, flexible packaging, and blown and cast films. It easily adheres to various substrates and exhibits wide polymer compatibility with polyolefins, oriented polyolefins, ionomers, polyesters, PVC, and other polar polymers. It is noncorrosive, has high filler acceptance, and facilitates improved processability. Thus, it is typically processed via extrusion, molding, or blown or cast film equipment. With 24% ethylene methyl acrylate content, it has excellent flexibility and softness without containing plasticizers.
