Bonderite® L-CA 193 (previously known as DAG 193) functions as a water based soft-paste insulator to provide a controlled solidification of molten metal and ensure high quality and consistent castings. Pigment: Vermiculite and refractories Carrier: Water Consistency: Soft paste Diluent: Water Solids content: 30%-34% Density: 10.3–10.7 lb./gal Shelf life: 24 months from date of qualification under original seal Protects against mold erosion. Increases mold life & decrease downtime for required maintenance. Non-toxic, non-flammable & smokeless. These coatings should be spray applied for a smooth, uniform coating, but brushing may be employed as an alternative. Heat mold surfaces to at least 177°-204°C (350°F-400°F) for quick evaporation of the carrier. Stir the product occasionally during use to prevent settling.

Bonderite® L-CA 633 Acheson (Previously known as DAG 633) provides both a lubricating & insulating coating for many different casting applications. It also allows for superior solidification, mold release properties and metal flow characteristics through a durable and very tenacious coating. Solids: 43.5-46.5 % Pigments: Boron nitride, titanium dioxide Appearance: White fluid Carrier: Water Diluent: Water Density: 11 lb./gal Flash point: None Freeze data: Protect from freezing VOC: 0.0 g/l Shelf life: 24 months from date of qualification under original seal Typical viscosity: 800-2400 cps Non-staining Capable of withstanding temperatures up to 2000°F (1093°C) Non-wetting, meaning molten aluminum and magnesium will not adhere Fine textured, permitting near net shape manufacturing A good insulator, providing a 9.47 W/mK thermal conductivity value at 2 mils BONDERITE® L-CA 633 ACHESON should be spray applied. Coating thickness, usually 1-3 mils, should be achieved by applying thin, multiple coats. Failure to use this technique could lead to peeling, flaking, and premature coating failure.

Designed to minimize hazards and errors in application while prolonging life of protected equipment. Pre-warm ladle to 121°C-177C° (250°F-350°F). 2. Brush BONDERITE® L-CA 696 ACHESON (known as DELTACAST 696) on ladle. 3. Cure/dry coating for 10-24 hours at 246°C (475°F). For instance, leave the ladle near an oven. 4. After proper curing the ladle can be used.

Bonderite® L-CA CG 515 Acheson (Previously known as Deltacast CG-515) is a dispersion of several pigments in water to provide a primer base coat for low pressure & permanent mold refractory casting operations. Pigment: Various Diluent: Water pH: 11.8 Viscosity: Thixotropic Density: 15.9 lb./gal Odor: Bland Freeze point: 0°C (32°F) Shelf life: 12 months from date of qualification under original seal The concentrate should be thoroughly mixed prior to use. Then, stirring gently, add small amounts of water to the concentrate until a fluid consistency is obtained. Stir in the remaining water to attain the desired dilution ratio. Typical dilution ratios vary from 1:1 to 1:3 (product : water). BONDERITE® L-CA CG 515 ACHESON (known as DELTACAST CG-515) should be spray applied for optimum results.
