Bonderite® L-FG 153 Acheson (formally known as Deltaglaze 153) is designed for use when hot forging titanium at extremely high temperatures (1600°F-1800°F) and provides protection from gaseous contamination while heating. Lubricant: Lead-free glass frit Carrier: Water Appearance: Purple, creamy fluid Density: 11 lb./gal Freezing point : 32°F (0°C) Shelf life : 12 months from date of qualification under original seal May be used as is or diluted with water at a ratio of 5:1 (product: water). Spraying is recommended for even, consistent coatings, although good results can be obtained by dipping. Prior to application, the billets should be thoroughly cleaned and preheated to 150°F-200°F (65°C-93°C).
Unique blend of graphite, oil & polymer designed to provide tool & part protection and good release for complex hot forging operations.
Bonderite® L-FG 907B Acheson (previously known as Deltaforge 907B) is a water-extendable lubricant specifically engineered with a unique combination of graphite & polymer to provide the advantages found in traditional oil-die lubricants with the clean operation & safety that is characteristic of water-based fluids. Lubricants: Graphite, polymers. Carrier/diluent: Water Solids content: 22 – 24% Density: 1.008 kg/liter (8.4 lb./gal) Freezing point: 0°C (32°F) Shelf life: 12 months from date of qualification under original seal Excellent stability. Unique oil/graphite/resin blend. Provides both hydrodynamic and boundary lubrication. Can be flood or spray applied. No separation or settling in concentrate resulting in consistent forging performance. Effective for steel, brass, and aluminum where high lubricity is required. Excellent release on difficult press work and highly automated processes. No build up in die cavity. Improved part quality. Less billet material needed. Reduced press downtime due to stickers. Oil film helps cold start up and leads to less scrap and rework. Typical Applications are; Hammer forging of steels. Mechanical press work of steels, brass and aluminum. Diluted BONDERITE® L-GF 907B ACHESON (known as DELTAFORGE 907B) should be applied by conventional spray techniques for best results. Spray application provides more uniform coating thickness, more complex coverage and lower friction values.
Water based, graphite containing die lubricant for complex press work and automated hot/warm/precision forging operations.
BONDERITE® L-FG F-50 Acheson is a water based, graphite die lubricant engineered for spray or flood operations in forging processes. It’s proprietary combination of graphite particle size and specialized binder provides excellent lubricity and release while allowing for faster wetting, longer die life and higher dilution ratios.
