HiTEC® 385 is a premier multifunctional gear oil additive engineered to boost performance in automotive and industrial lubricants. It was designed to enhance production and blending flexibility through the inherent versatility and ability to manufacture a range of fluid types, including automotive, limited slip, commercial and industrial gear oils and greases, and various industrial fluids.
When formulated properly, fluids utilizing HiTEC® 385 can meet a range of industry and OEM specification requirements, including but not limited to
API GL-3, API GL-4, API GL-5, API MT-1, Mack GO-J, Meritor 0-76D (80w-90), Meritor 0-76A (85W-140), Ford WSP-M2C197-A, SAE J2360, ZF TE-ML 07A AND TE-ML 08, AIST 224, AGMA 9005-E02, Cincinnati Machine, DIN 51517-3, and more.

HiTEC® 385 can be used at a range of treat rates to formulate a variety of economic to premium-tier fluids. The recommended treat rates for HiTEC® 385 fall between 2.0 wt% and 7.5 wt%, depending on the fluid application and base stock used.
