Capstone™ FS-30 is a powerful wetting and leveling additive in aqueous coating, ink, and paint formulations. It can be added to water based paint and ink formulations during the grind or let-down phase. When added to the grind phase Capstone™ FS-30 is an incredibly effective pigment wetting agent and eliminates the need for other surfactants and defoamers. When added during let-down It will help to reduce surface defects like orange peel, pinholes, and cratering. The effectiveness of Capstone™ FS-30 at a low dosage rate (typically 0.01-0.05% actives) makes Capstone™ FS-30 the ideal wetting agent for manufacturers who are looking to reduce formulation cost and complexity.

Capstone™ FS-30 can also be used in cleaning solutions at 0.01-0.1% actives to improve the wetting of difficult soils and increase cleanability.

In water-based floor care products Capstone™ FS-30 is used to improve surface wetting, improve re-wet characteristics, and reduce cratering. It it is recommended to be added to floor care formulations at 0.01-0.05% actives by weight.

In plating baths Capstone™ FS-30 can be added to reduce drag-out.
