CP 153-2-25% is a chlorinated polyethylene solution that is used in primers to promote adhesion of coatings, inks, and adhesives to untreated polyethylene.
CP 153-2-25% is a solution of chlorinated polyolefin in xylene. It is used primarily as a primer for coatings, paints, inks, and adhesives that are applied to polyethylene. Priming of untreated polyethylene with CP 153-2-25% increases the surface energy of the plastic and allows for improved adhesion. CP 153-2-25% is commonly used in printing applications in order to improve ink adhesion to polyethylene films.
