MKC™ Silicate MS56S is a highly reactive silicate sol intermediate obtained using the partial hydrolysis of tetramethoxysilane. This oligomer is recommended as a high-performance binder and surface modifier in paint and coating formulations, enhancing structural integrity and resistance to heat and weather. As a paint additive, it helps move silicate molecules to the coating surface during the drying process, increasing hydrophilicity and providing high stain resistance and self-cleaning properties.
