Overview
LIM™ 8040 is an self-bonding injection molding silicone rubber material with FDA approval. It offers adhesion to a variety of metals and engineered plastics without the use of a primer. The self-bonding property of LIM 8040 makes it a cost-effective solution for multicomponent injection molding or insert molding. LIM™ 8040 meets the food contact requirements and has been tested for USP class VI.
