The FASCAT® 4201 catalyst is extensively utilized in the aqueous cathodic electrodeposition of urethane coatings, as well as a catalyst for methacrylate esters used in the water treatment sector. FASCAT® 4201 is utilized in high-temperature transesterification reactions to manufacture coating resins and in the synthesis of alkyd resins.
