Krytox™ XHT-AC Grease is a PFPE (perfluoropolyether) based NLGI 2 solution specially engineered for lubrication and protection at extreme temperatures. The XHT-AC Grease can operate at temperatures up to 300°C (572°F), whereas traditional lubricants would melt, degrade, or burst into flames. Krytox™ XHT-AC Grease is chemically inert and, therefore, has no adverse effects on metals when operating at temperatures below 288°C (550°F). When operating above 288°C, many alloy steels, stainless steels, and metals can be used with this Krytox™ lubricant.

Krytox™ XHT-AC Grease has a base oil viscosity of 500 cSt at 40°C, which provides low evaporation rates at high temperatures, synonymous with the Krytox™ brand. Formulated from additional nitrite additives for enhanced corrosion and anti-wear protection, Krytox™ XHT-AC Grease is a phenomenal choice for a wide range of lubricant applications.
