Krytox™ GPL 224 is an NLGI Grade 2, white PFPE-based grease with a PTFE thickener and sodium nitrite for enhanced anticorrosion performance over a temperature range of −60°F to 355°F. Its base oil viscosity is 60 cSt at 40°C.

Overview
Krytox™ GPL 224 is a PFPE-based grease engineered with a PTFE thickener and additized sodium nitrite for improved anticorrosion performance. Krytox™ GPL 224 is commonly used in a wide variety of applications within the automotive and industrial markets. Krytox™ GPL 224 exhibits exceptional rust protection at ambient temperatures, corrosion protection at elevated temperatures, and anti-wear performance.
Krytox™ GPL 224 has a base oil viscosity of 30 centistokes at 40°C and is suitable for use in applications up to 179°C (355°F). Krytox™ GPL 224 greases are white buttery greases with the same chemical properties as the Krytox™ GPL 104 oil that they are made from.
