Overview
Krytox™ GPL 217 is a high-viscosity, black PFPE grease with a PTFE thickener and additized molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) for enhanced extreme-pressure (EP) lubrication applications with highly loaded gears and bearings.
Krytox™ lubricants are commonly used in both the automotive and industrial markets in a broad range of end applications. GPL 217 has a high base oil viscosity of 450 centistokes at 40°C and is suitable for use in applications with a temperature range up to 288°C (550°F).
Krytox™ GPL 217 is an EP grease with a medium molecular weight that exhibits the same chemical properties as the PFPE-based oil it is manufactured with (Krytox™ GPL 107).
