Chemours Krytox™ XP-2A7 grease is a perfluoropolyether (PFPE) lubricant that helps deliver exceptional performance in the harshest applications. Krytox™ XP-2A7 is developed using patented soluble additives, which enhance the overall performance, giving them more advanced performance properties, especially compared to traditional lubricant solutions. Krytox™ XP-2A7 is resistant to washout and reduces the need to perform frequent grease change outs or replace parts, saving time and keeping maintenance costs down. In addition, Krytox™ XP-2A7 grease helps reduce noise commonly displayed by small and electric motor bearings.

Krytox™ XP-2A7 grease performs under tremendous load conditions and prevents metal-to-metal contact, reducing machine damage and wear. The long-term antirust additive properties repel moisture, protecting against the corrosion of metal parts and bearing surfaces. In addition, Krytox™ XP lubricant base oils are inert and nonreactive to all elastomers, plastics, and metals; though, Krytox™ lubricant XP products have not been tested with all materials, they perform well with most. Krytox™ XP lubricants also provide anticorrosion properties, reducing rust and permitting longer grease and bearing life.
