Overview
Krytox™ GPL 215 is a black PFPE-based grease with a PTFE thickener and additized solid molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) for added extreme-pressure stability. Krytox™ GPL 215 is well suited for a range of lubrication applications in the automotive and industrial sectors, especially with gears and bearings subject to extremely high loads.
Krytox™ GPL 215 is engineered with a base oil viscosity of 160 centistokes at 40°C and is thermally stable in environments with temperatures up to 400°F. Krytox™ GPL 215 has a medium–molecular weight base oil and exhibits the same chemical properties as the PFPE oil used (Krytox™ 105).
