Overview
Krytox™ XHT-ACX Grease is a specially engineered perfluoropolyether-based (PFPE), high-temperature grease with a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) thickener for extremely hot environments up to 300°C or 572°F. With anti-wear and corrosion protection from sodium nitrite additives, Krytox™ XHT-ACX exhibits a base viscosity of 738 cSt at 40°C, providing a very low evaporation rate.
Being chemically inert, Krytox™ XHT-ACX Grease is highly compatible with all elastomers and plastics in a broad range of applications and equipment types. Krytox™ lubricants have low surface tension and no adverse effects on metals since they are inert. Though Krytox™ XHT-ACX Grease is an excellent choice for lubrication over a broad temperature range, it is designed to work best at temperatures over 200°C (400°F).
