Overview
HiTEC® 12210M additive package is blended into appropriate base oils to meet the performance specifications of mainstream heavy-duty engine oils. When used with HiTEC® 5748A olefin copolymer (OCP) viscosity index improver, HiTEC® 12210M additive meets API CK-4 in SAE 15W-40, 10W-30 and 10W-40 oils, and API FA-4 in SAE 10W-30 oil. It also meets the latest performance requirements of common original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). The additive package is formulated with pour point depressant technology, so no additional pour point depressants are needed to achieve low-temperature performance.
