Viton™ A-201C, formerly VTR-6402, is a pre-compounded fluoropolymer with a fast cure rate, excellent rheology, and mold release in injection molding applications. Viton™ A-201C is designed for the injection molding of sealing devices.
Viton™ A-201C is a fully precompounded A-type fluoroelastomer composed of hexafluoropropylene (HFP) and vinylidene fluoride (VF₂). Viton™ A-201C contains 66% fluorine and can be blended with other A-type Viton™ grades to improve properties and shrinkage. In addition to high heat and chemical resistance, Viton™ A-201C improves the processing properties and molding rheology in injection molding and rubber compounding sealing devices. Viton™ A -201C can be formulated to meet the fluoroelastomer specifications of Mil-R-83248B and AMS 7276D.
