Viton™ B-435C
Viton™ B-435C is a pre-compounded fluoropolymer designed for applications requiring improved bonding to metal inserts is required.
Viton™ B-435C is a fully precompounded terpolymer composed of hexafluoropropylene (HFP), vinylidene fluoride (VF₂), and tetrafluoroethylene (TFE). Viton™ B-435C is a fluoropolymer with 68.5% fluorine content, allowing excellent heat and fluid resistance. This fluoroelastomer precompound has a nominal Mooney viscosity (ML 1+10 at 121 °C [250 °F]) of 40. Viton™ B-435C provides a large processing window with an excellent mold release and low mold fouling.
Viton™ B-435C is featured with a proprietary cure system that offers improved processing over other B typeB-type polymers. It offers a broad processing window, improved bonding to metal substrates, and enhanced resistance to mold fouling.
