Viton™ A-361C
Viton™ A-361C, formerly VTR-7152, is a precompounded fluoropolymer with excellent mold flow and tear resistance. Viton™ A-361C is used when good adhesion to metal is required.
Viton™ A-361C fluoroelastomer is a fully precompounded A-type dipolymer composed of hexafluoropropylene (HFP) and vinylidene fluoride (VF₂). Part of A-family dipolymers, this grade of Viton™ contains 66% fluorine content and is recommended in the compression and injection molding of parts that require good metal adhesion. The moderate viscosity of Viton™ A-361C makes it suitable for the compression molding of complex shapes while featuring a fully precompounded material that helps reduce curative levels and promote incorporated metal adhesion. Viton™ A-361C allows for improved processing as it has an increased mold flow property, making the FKM product easier to release from the mold with less fouling.
