INCI Disodium EDTA
VERSENE™ NA forms extremely stable complexes with metals across a wide pH range. EDTA’s primary function is to bind with free iron, copper, and other naturally occurring trace metal ions. It will stop these common heavy metals from reacting with ingredients in formulas or being used by microbial organisms. This can help with overall formulation stability and extend shelf life. This USP and cGMP-compliant grade is a pure powdered form readily dissolvable in water.
