CP 343-1-25% is a 25% solids solution of chlorinated polypropylene in xylene. It is most often used as the adhesion promoting resin in primer formulation for thermoplastic polyolefins and metals. When applied to untreated polyolefins, CP 343-1-25% functions as a tie layer and allows for improved adhesion of inks, coatings, adhesives, and sealants to the low surface energy plastic. Primers formulated with CP 343-1-25% exhibit excellent humidity resistance and are ideal for use in particularly wet environments.
