CP 343-1 is dissolved in Xylene at 50% to provide this solution grade adhesion promoter. It is most often diluted and used on polypropylene, TPO, and metal as a primer. CP 343-1-50% increases the surface energy of polyolefin plastics and allows for inks, coatings, paints, and adhesives to adhere better. This grade is useful in wet climates as it provides good wet adhesion and maximum humidity resistance. CP 343-1-50% is used in a variety of applications including automotive coatings, architectural paints, printing inks for flexible packaging, adhesives, and sealants.
