CP 349W is a water-based adhesion promoting additive for coatings, paints, inks, and adhesives. This dispersion of chlorinated polypropylene contains 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol as the neutralizing amine, making it more compatible with waterborne resins and more useful as a stir-in additive. CP 349W also contains 5% ethylene glycol to improve the freeze resistance of the dispersion.
Improved adhesion to polypropylene, TPO, and metal Can be used as an additive or a primer Low VOC Compatible with waterborne resins Improved freeze resistance
Problems Solved
Poor storage stability of water based primers in freezing temperatures. VOC restrictions that prevent the use of solvent based chemistries.
Applications
Adhesion promoter for paints Automotive OEM Coatings Coatings for automotive plastics Coatings for plastics parts Graphic arts General industrial coatings
