AMICAL™ WP is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial preservative from LANXESS based on the active diiodomethyl-p-tolylsulfone, which is useful for controlling microbial degradation and preserving the integrity of products across a multitude of product applications.
AMICAL™ WP is and EPA registered preservative with FDA clearances for various indirect food contact uses in the U.S. It is effective across a wide range of applications including adhesives, coatings (paper, wood, and general), plastics, tanned leather, textiles, caulks, and metalworking fluids. AMICAL™ WP is non-irritating to skin and offered in a convenient powder form.
