Kemamide® E-180, Pastille
Kemamide® E-180, Pastille fatty amide, is a secondary fatty amide of stearyl erucamide supplied in pastille form for ease of handling and imparts slip properties.
PMC Biogenix Kemamide® E-180, Pastille fatty amides are the additive choice for plastic material applications requiring good slip and antiblock properties. Kemamide® E-180, Pastille can be used as a slip agent in plastic films, a lubricant for rigid polymers, a mold release agent for injection molding, a dyestuff dispersant for printing inks and surface coatings, and a blending additive for polyamide resin material.
Kemamide® E-180, Pastille fatty amide is relatively insoluble in water and within oxygenated organic solvents at normal temperatures. PMC Biogenix Kemamide® E-180, Pastille protects plastics by providing long-term color stability when products are exposed to UV and oxygen degradation. Kemamide® E-180, Pastille unsaturated fatty amides also act as a secondary mold release agent for polyolefins and engineering polymer applications.
