DMAA 95 in water is a copolymer used in unsaturated polyester resin formulations.
DMAA 95 is a concentrated 95% solution of N,N-Dimethylacetoacetamide (CAS number 2044-64-6) in water. DMAA 95 is used as a copromoter in unsaturated polyester resin formulations to help resins cure quickly and completely. DMAA 95 has low color and can cross-link with other polymers, It also lowers the solution viscosity for high-solids coatings, and the glass transition temperature.
