Product Overview
METHOCEL™ J75MS is a surface treated HPMC polymer with high hydroxypropyl substitution. It is typically used as a thickener, binder, and suspension aid in coatings, adhesives, and concrete. Surface treated grades of METHOCEL™ are cross linked with glyoxal. This allows for the METHOCEL™ to be easily and completely dispersed in aqueous solutions prior to hydration, which is typically triggered by a pH adjustment. METHOCEL™ J75MS is thixotropic, has good solvent compatibility, and outstanding pH stability making it an ideal thickener for many cleaners. When used in architectural latex paints to control viscosity and rheology, METHOCEL™ J75MS provides improved film durability, storage stability, and easier brush loading.
