DMCD (Dimethyl Cyclohexanedicarboxylate)

Excellent weathering, flexibility and thermal stability in gel coats.
Product Overview
Eastman™ DMCD is a cycloaliphatic diester with low melting capabilities for synthesizing polyesters, polyamides, alkyds, and plasticizers. Similar performance properties to CHDA, except the reaction with glycols is a transesterification where methanol rather than water evolves from the reaction.
