Eastman NPG™ 90 (neopentyl glycol) is a liquid above 38°C and is used primarily in the manufacture of high-quality polyester resins for a variety of industrial coatings & fiberglass reinforced plastics. NPG™ 90 is also used as an intermediate to formulate a variety of synthetic lubricants.
Eastman NPG™ 90 is a primary component in polyester based powder coating resin systems and delivers excellent toughness, stain & detergent resistance.
In the U.S., NPG™ 90 can also legally be used for food contact coating applications under federal food additive regulations.
