(90/10) Mixture of Cycloaliphatic Glycol & Water for Saturated & Unsaturated Polyester Resins (1,4-Cyclohexanedimethanol)
Eastman™ CHDM-D90 is a liquid mixture of cycloaliphatic glycol and water (90/10). CHDM-D90 is used primarily in the manufacture of saturated & unsaturated polyester resins. The 10 weight percent water in CHDM-D90 is removed during heating of the resin reaction process.
CHDM-D90 provides good chemical, stain, humidty & corrosion resistance in polyester-melamine baked enamels.
CHDM-D90 can also be used as a glycol modifier with Eastman NPG™ for resins.
