IFF Naturally Derived Thickeners and Binders:

SeaSpen®carrageenans are sustainably sourced from red seaweed. They are biodegradable stabilizing agents for active ingredients and emulsions present in agrochemical formulations. They comply with 40 CFR § 180.910, § 180.920, and § 180.930.
ETHOCEL™ethylcellulose polymers are highly insoluble in water. Therefore, they can be used as a binder and film former for water-insoluble coatings for seeds and crops. Chevron Phillips Chemical Isoparaffinic Solvents:
Soltrol® Isoparaffinic Solvents from Chevron Phillips Chemical can be used as oil-based adjuvants in agricultural sprays and pesticides to prevent spray drift and help pesticides stick to the crop. Soltrol® is a line of low-odor, high-purity isoparaffin solvents available with a range of boiling points. Soltrol® complies with 21 CFR § 172.882 for direct and indirect food contact applications.
Niacet Niaproof® Anionic Surfactants:
Niaproof® 08 Surfactant is an anionic surfactant from Niacet based on an aqueous solution of sodium 2-ethylhexyl sulfate. Niaproof® carries 40 CFR § 180.910 clearance for preharvest and postharvest uses and DfE approval. It is stable in both acidic and alkaline pH ranges.
BASF Sokalan® Acrylic Polymers:
Polyacrylic acid (PA) and sodium polyacrylates (CP) from BASF are used as dispersing agents and carry the required clearance for agriculture applications.
Sokalan® PA 30 CL is a polyacrylic acid–based dispersing agent with 40 CFR § 180.960 clearance.
