ROCIMA™ BT 2S is a 19% benzisothiazolinone (BIT) preservative solubilized in dipropylene glycol (DPG) that offers excellent protection and stability at high temperatures for use in crop protection, coatings, building materials, and many other industrial applications.
ROCIMA™ BT 2S Industrial Microbicide is a highly effective preservative in various aqueous solutions and industrial formulations. This in-can preservative is based on 1,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-one dispersed in a dipropylene glycol carrier and offers broad-spectrum protection against bacteria, mold, and yeast.
ROCIMA™ BT 2S is an excellent choice for in-can preservation, especially when high-temperature stability and chemical compatibility are required. The active ingredient is stable up to 150°C, providing more flexibility in formulations and processing conditions. It also offers good compatibility in aqueous solutions and in the presence of amines.
The antimicrobial properties of ROCIMA™ BT 2S make it ideal for use as a bactericide in a wide variety of industrial solutions and applications, including coatings, adhesives, latices, inks, pigments, building materials, pesticides, and crop protection formulations.
