Lupasol® PR 8515

Lupasol® PR 8515 is an anhydrous, low molecular weight, polyethylenimine that is used as an adhesion promoter and crosslinker in coatings and adhesives.
Product Overview
Lupasol® PR 8515, is a water-free multi-functional cationic polyethyleneimine (PEI) with a branched polymer structure. Lupasol® PR 8515 has a low molecular weight and can be added to water-based coatings, inks, and adhesive formulations without a significant effect on viscosity. Due to the high cationic charge density, Lupasol® PR 8515 is highly effective at crosslinking negatively charged polymers, increasing adhesion, flocculating anionic contaminants, and dispersing cationic pigments. Lupasol® PR 8515 is available commercially as a viscous, 50% solids, aqueous solution in 55 gallon drums. It can be easily diluted with water and most polar solvents to your specific working concentration.
