ROBOND™ L-2152 is one part of a two-component water-based adhesive system for various films and foils. The adhesive creates laminates with high bond strength and heat and chemical resistance.
ROBOND™ L-2152 is one part of a two-part acrylic waterborne laminating adhesive system. It should be paired with Coreactant CR 9-101 to create the ROBOND™ L-2152/Coreactant CR 9-101 adhesive system to achieve maximum adhesion and performance. This adhesive system adheres well to substrates such as cellophane, treated polyolefins, polyester, vinyl, aluminum foil, metallized and PVDC-coated materials, coextruded heat-sealable layers, paper, and more. ROBOND™ L-2152/Coreactant CR 9-101 adhesive provides high bond strength, excellent optical clarity, and strong heat and chemical resistance to a variety of applications. Most commonly, ROBOND™ L-2152/Coreactant CR 9-101 is used to produce laminates for flexible packaging but may also be used for industrial laminations between materials like polyester film and scrim or polyester film and foil. ROBOND™ L-2152/Coreactant CR 9-101 adhesive should be applied in a dry coating weight range of 2.4–5.7 g/m2, depending on the substrate, application, and coating method.
