Dow UCON™ UCONALL™ LUB 46 is an ISO Grade 46 polypropylene glycol–based lubricant designed for extreme-pressure environments.
Dow UCON™ UCONALL™ LUB 46 fluid is a fully formulated, extreme-pressure lubricant with an ISO Grade of 46. UCON™ compressor fluids are engineered to provide excellent lubrication, enhanced stability, and extended equipment service life. Dow has worked to eliminate many problems commonly encountered with traditional petroleum-based lubricant technology. UCON™ UCONALL™ LUB 46 hydraulic fluid is differentiated by viscosity, which is 52 cSt at 100°F with a flash point of 490°F. UCON™ UCONALL™ compressor fluids have a wide temperature range, making them highly resistant to oxidation and thermal degradation. This lowers overall maintenance costs by eliminating the need for seasonal changeover, extending equipment life, and providing superior fluid lubrication to manufacturing plants.
UCON™ UCONALL™ lubricants help prevent hydraulic failure due to premature compressor fluid oxidation and wear. Maintaining adequate lubrication is extremely important to provide longevity and reduce equipment failures, which can be very costly and create an inefficient and expensive environment. UCON™ compressor fluid can also be used as a primary lubricant in various end applications, including gears, mobile equipment, and drivers.
