ZELEC® Acid Alcohol Phosphates are used as internal mold release agents in unsaturated polyester and can be effective antistatic agents in coatings when neutralized.

ZELEC® LA-2 is an internal mold release agent that also reduces the viscosity of resin systems. This viscosity reduction has been observed in clay, calcium carbonate, and aluminum trihydrate filled systems. ZELEC® LA-2 is significantly less acidic than ZELEC® UN and thus shows no corrosion towards metal dies. This low acidity also makes ZELEC® compatible with acid sensitive pigment systems.
