ZELEC® UN
ZELEC® UN is a highly acidic phosphate ester. It is used as a release agent in polyester resin molding operations that require heat.
ZELEC® Acid Alcohol Phosphates are effective internal release agents for polyester molding operations and can be utilized as antistatic agents for coatings and plastics.
ZELEC® UN is effective as release agent in externally heat cured molding such as pultrusion, matched metal die, compression molding, sheet molding, and bulk molding. ZELEC® UN has shown to be especially useful in pultrusion where it can reduce pull force, improve resin wet out, and maintain part integrity. ZELEC® UN can also be used as an antistatic agent if neutralized with KOH or an amine.
