Overview
CA-394-60LF is a high molecular weight cellulose acetate polymer used as a film forming resin in applications where heat and chemical resistance are important. Lacquers for paper, plastic, wire, glass and electric insulators made from CA-394-60LF have excellent abrasion resistance, good UV stability and will out perform nitrocellulose based lacquers. CA-394-60LF can also be used as a modifying resin in wood sealers and coatings to improve strength, UV resistance, and chemical resistance. It is available in pellet form and should be let down into solvent prior to addition to a formulation.
